Job Description:
Position Summary:
Reporting to the QA/QC Manager, the Specialist will oversee the
post-harvest manufacturing process at our client's facility located
45 minutes west of Toledo, Ohio. He/she will follow QA/QC processes
to ensure that products meet consistent standards and are compliant
with state quality-related regulations, GMP, and SQF.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow QA/QC processes and programs as directed by the QA/QC
Manager.
Elevate and discuss variances with the QA/QC Manager.
Perform sampling and inspection of finished goods.
Inspect packaged goods for correct content, quality, and
labeling.
Inspect and audit in-process documentation and logs.
Inspect for compliance with state quality-related regulations.
Inspect for compliance with GMP and SQF.
Ensure all scales are calibrated and level.
Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
A High School diploma is required.
1-3 years of QA/QC experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
