*Job Summary: *

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Help Desk Specialist to work out of our Lansing, Michigan office. The Customer Service Help Desk Specialist provides technical and customer service support to financial institutions and state employees.

*Two different work schedules are available for this position: 10 hours per day, 4 days per week OR 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.*

*Job Functions: *
* Register incoming data match media from financial institutions/servicing agents
* Troubleshoot problem media and reconcile file issues

* Ability to read and understand flat file formats
* Create reports

* Answers hotline and email questions and provide technical support to financial institutions, service agents and state agents, including:

o Website Issues

o Log-in and user id issues

o Program topics

o Compliance

o Past Due Invoices
* Research new or non-participating institutions for each state assignment for outreach efforts

o Help prepare and mail outreach/participation packets to financial institutions
* Conduct calls to financial institutions for

o New project implementation

o Non-compliance

o Technical file issues
* Quality assurance self checks

o Ability to read and understand control reports

o Use of a daily checklist

o Cross-check file processing across duplicate state projects
* Create quarterly reports for State agencies regarding non-compliance
* Other Duties as Assigned

*Required Qualifications: *
* Associates Degree is preferred
* Knowledge of financial institution data match regulations and statutes preferred
* Superb attention to detail
* Experience with accounts payable/accounts receivable
* Experience with various types of electronic media, including FTPs, SFTP, internet and compact disc
* Experience with file encryption
* Experience troubleshooting various types of files
* High level of customer service experience, preferable in a call center or helpdesk setting

- Windows and Microsoft Office experience required with extensive use of

o Outlook

o Excel

o Word

- Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

- Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
