Estimators are responsible for reviewing construction drawings;
evaluating bid specifications; sending out bid requests or tracking
project bids. The estimator will be responsible for determining the
total cost of a construction project. Estimators must aggressively
follow-up with subcontractors to ensure that bids are received.
Estimators will work with the Project Management teams to follow-up
on bids and budgets to ensure the project is on budget.

Researching materials, equipment and labor costs for the

of the project requirements.
Perform detailed quantity takeoff estimates for all trades.
Assemble accurate and well organized estimates and proposals in a

development drawings to create conceptual estimates.
Visit sites, warehouses and other venues necessary to complete the

Previous working experience as a construction estimator in
multifamily and light commercial for 5 to 10 years. Prefer Michigan
In-depth knowledge of construction project management.
Previous multifamily experience estimating projects into the $50
Familiarity with computer programs such as Bluebeam, Procore and

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

80,000-100,000 based on experience.
