Job Description This position is housed in the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) Liquor Control Commission (MLCC)'s Enforcement Division. This position is responsible for reviewing, researching, and analyzing legal and business documents applicable to licensee requests regarding return of inventory, promotions, transfer of inventory, destruction of inventory, off premise storage requests, and requests for beer and wine discounts; and when appropriate; the preparation of Commission Orders in compliance with the Liquor Control Code and Administrative Rules. This position utilizes the MLCC database system to analyze data, serves as computer liaison for the Enforcement Division which includes investigators and office staff, assists in training staff in system usage, develops and recommends strategies to utilize technological resources to their fullest capacity in meeting division goals, and is accountable for the evidence collected in the course of Enforcement activities. Further, this position is the Bureau's Local Agency Security Officer (LASO) who is versed, knowledgeable in rules, regulation, applications, and operation of Criminal History Record Information (CHRI) and ICHAT and the interfaced systems, ensures system integrity and compliance, conducts audits of system use, and coordinates and provides training, certification, and re-certification. This position will be filled at a level consistent with the preferred candidates education and experience. Experience Departmental Analyst 9 No specific type or amount is required. Departmental Analyst 10 One year of professionalexperience. Departmental Analyst P11 Two years of professionalexperience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service. Departmental Analyst 12 Three years of professionalexperience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.
