Job Description:
The Behavior Technician provides one-on-one direct care with
learners while teaching independent daily living skills for a
higher quality of life. Behavior Technicians provide a safe and
supportive learning environment for learners and their families.
Technicians are responsible for collecting and recording data on
the learners' behavior for skill acquisition and distressed

lives---The Behavior Technician is responsible for:Providing
one-on-one direct care with learners while teaching independent
daily living skills for a higher quality of life in a center, home,
or community-based settingCollecting and recording data on the
learners' behavior for skill acquisition and distressed behavior
reduction goalsCollaborating and communicating with team members
including the learners' familiesProviding a safe and supportive
learning environmentFollowing individualized behavior
programmingAdhering to diet, supplementation, and medication
protocols per parent instructionsCompleting documentation and
billing both timely and accuratelyMonitoring and maintaining
condition and availability of suppliesAbout you---You have a
passion for working with children with autismYou're experienced in
other settings such as direct care roles in residential or
outpatient mental health, K-12 educational settings, childcare, or
with individuals with developmental disabilities are considered
relevant work experience for this role.You demonstrate
professionalism in communication, reliability, attention to
accuracy, flexibility, and teamwork.We are hopeful you have---High
school diploma/GED required.Bachelor's Degree in ABA or related
field (such as Psychology, Education, Early Childhood Development,
or Social Work) is preferred but not required. Individuals who are
interested in obtaining a graduate degree in Behavior Analysis or
related field are highly preferred. Individuals who wish to gain
evidence-based autism therapy experience with an intention of
pursuing a non-ABA clinical trajectory are preferred.Bilingual
(Spanish) preferred.Valid state of Michigan driver's
license.Ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid
