Job Title: Reinsurance Product Configurator

(Product Configuration / Integration / Reinsurance Domain Knowledge / Testing)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Reinsurance Product Configurator to support the configuration, integration, and troubleshooting of reinsurance platforms. This role requires expertise in reinsurance product configuration and system integration, with flexibility in platform experience.

Candidates with hands-on experience in any major reinsurance software (Procede, Insurity Reinsurance Software, Vantage Reinsurance, Guidewire InsuranceSuite, or equivalent) will be considered. If you don't have Procede experience but have strong reinsurance product knowledge and the ability to adapt and learn quickly, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Configuration:

Configure and customize reinsurance platforms to align with client-specific products and business requirements.
Define and manage product rules, parameters, and data structures within the system.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document configuration requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.

Integration:

Collaborate with the integration team to ensure seamless system connections with enterprise applications and third-party platforms.
Develop and maintain integration scripts, APIs, and data connectors to facilitate secure and efficient data flow.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring system reliability and data integrity.

Troubleshooting & Support:

Diagnose and resolve configuration and technical issues related to reinsurance platform functionality.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for configured products, addressing issues as they arise post-implementation.
Analyze system errors and implement solutions to minimize business disruptions.

Installation & Deployment:

Assist with installation and setup of reinsurance platforms for new and existing clients.
Provide technical guidance and documentation to ensure smooth system deployment.
Update installation manuals and user guides to support internal teams and clients.

Required Experience:

3+ years of experience in reinsurance product configuration, system integration, or technical support within the reinsurance or insurance industry.
Hands-on experience with one or more reinsurance platforms, such as Procede, Insurity Reinsurance Software, Vantage Reinsurance, Guidewire InsuranceSuite, or similar tools.
Strong background in system integration, including API management, data mapping, and scripting.
Proven experience in troubleshooting technical issues and providing system support.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new reinsurance platforms, especially Procede if not previously used.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in configuring reinsurance products and working with complex business rules.
Experience with integration tools, middleware, and APIs for seamless data exchange.
Strong knowledge of SQL, scripting languages, and data transformation tools.
Understanding of enterprise software installation and deployment best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in cloud-based reinsurance solutions.
Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools for dashboard creation and performance analysis.
Exposure to automated testing and performance monitoring for reinsurance platforms.
