To assist Farm Bureau Insurance agents and staff with quoting and servicing clients with employer health plans and ancillary products, and to assist with enrollment of employees into a plan. To maintain a working knowledge of health policies and products.ResponsibilitiesGroup Health Customer Service Support Analyst Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of customer service functions to assist sales staff and agents in quoting, implementing, servicing, and retaining group health insurance and ancillary products.
• Effectively utilize insurance and company systems, following established policies and guidelines to manage and respond to inquiries and issues.
• Serve as a liaison with the insurance carrier(s) to ensure timely underwriting of policies and maintain current knowledge of the insurance carriers' underwriting guidelines.
• Participate in training and testing programs as required.
• Provide customers with detailed information about policies and products.
• Process customer requests according to established department policies and procedures.
• Provide timely feedback to customers through outbound calling, email, mail, or fax.
• Train and educate the agency force in the technical information, products, and general questions applicable to the group health industry.QualificationsGroup Health Customer Service Support Analyst Qualifications Required:
  • Associate's degree in business or insurance required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Must possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Michigan Health Insurance License required, or obtained within 60 days of hire.Preferred:
    • Two years of experience in health insurance field preferred**Candidate MUST live in the state of Michigan.
