Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled
Wastewater/Quality Technician to join our team. This role involves
a variety of responsibilities including wastewater testing, quality
inspections, and process control. The ideal candidate will be
adaptable, eager to learn multiple tasks, and committed to
maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities Conduct
wastewater testing and ensure compliance with pH permit limits.
Inspect and test coils, including thickness and quality checks.
Prepare and manage baths for coils and manage the treatment
process. Perform titrations to determine free acid and conduct
physical testing such as EXRF, ICP analysis, and pH measurements.
Document test results accurately and maintain spreadsheets.
Communicate effectively with production to address any defects or
issues with coils. Perform blister testing and report results to
relevant personnel. Conduct a range of tests on coils according to
customer specifications. Essential Skills Previous lab experience
from college or work. Understanding of the pH scale. Experience
working with chemicals, paints, coatings, or metals. High school
diploma or GED. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical
aptitude. Experience with wastewater treatment processes.
Familiarity with pumps and valves. Quality control and assurance
skills. Visual inspection and production experience. Work
Environment This position operates within a union environment,
though the role itself is non-union. Candidates should be flexible
and open to working various shifts, including possible shifts from
11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., or 11:00 p.m. to
7:00 a.m. Shifts are determined by performance and team needs.
Expect a workweek of 5 days, with potential shifts extending to 10
or even 12 hours, including Saturday rotations. Overtime is
compensated at 1.5x after 8 hours and double time after 12 hours
daily. Benefits include competitive wages, medical, dental, and

profit-sharing bonus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to
Hire position based out of Walbridge, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay
range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility

classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to
