Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is
for a Masters-level Social Worker to provide intervention support
to K-12 students within a public school setting in Flint, MI. The
position involves working primarily with special education students
in small groups, moderate groups, or one-on-one settings. The
caseload typically ranges from 35 to 45 students and may focus on
elementary, middle, or high school grades based on school needs and
candidate preferences. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver social work
services tailored to K-12 special education students - Provide
intervention support in small/moderate group and 1:1 settings -
Manage a caseload of approximately 35-45 students - Collaborate
with school staff to support student well-being and educational
success - Maintain compliance with all relevant state and district
regulations Qualifications: - Masters degree in Social Work - Full
Approval or Social Worker Certificate through the Michigan
Department of Education, or SSW 310 credential letter with
application in process - Licensed Social Worker credential through
the Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) - Ability to
undergo 9-panel drug screening and Michigan state fingerprinting
requirements - Preference given to onsite candidates; virtual
candidates considered if residing in Michigan Location and
Duration: - Flint, Michigan onsite preferred; virtual candidates
accepted if Michigan residents - Contract position for the school
year starting January 26, 2026 through June 12, 2026 - 35 hours per
